The Parish is well served by its Police Community Support Officer, currently Liz Ward, and our Neighbourhood Warden Kaz Elliott. Kaz works for Stroud District Council but they do work together when necessary and are very willing to talk to you about any issues bothering you, including anti-social behaviour, suspicions, personal safety, traffic issues etc. If they can't deal with the matter themselves they will make sure that someone else gets involved.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WARDEN SERVICE
Both LS and KS Parishes benefit from the regular visits of a Neighbourhood Warden and pay a modest annual sum towards the service. The Warden visits the Stanleys, at different times, getting to know the people and the area well. Wardens can help the community in many ways. NWs will spot where help from another service might be needed and make sure it gets there as they liaise with the Police and other service providers. Their uniforms and transport are distinctive and they always carry identity.

There are various ways you can get involved in or seek to influence policing in your neck of the woods. Community Consultative Meetings are one way and becoming a KIN - Key Individual Networker. Neither is an onerous task, but, as a starting point, if there is something that bothers you, why not talk to your PCSO or Neighbourhood Warden.
